In a bid to engage a young, tech savvy audience to use their laptop computers Toshiba and chip maker Intel are producing a social experiement - Inside. It is being directed by D.J. In the 80's and 90's Levis could make a new band red-hot or reanimate a long forgotten song simply by featuring it in one of their commercials - crafted by the geniuses at Bartle Bogle Hegarty. Apple have performed the same trick with equally persuasive results for the iPod and its permutations. So this campaign (if that is even a relevant term anymore in the always on world) by Ikea has plenty of precedents.
